CEDEI hosted a presentation on opportunities for studying in the United States, which included the participation of Adam Namm, U.S. Ambassador in Quito, and Meghan Whalen, EducationUSA Adviser in Cuenca. The event took place on July 1st in CEDEI's central building, at Gran Colombia 11-02 and General Torres.
The talk addressed the importance of educational exchanges and opportunities for study in the United States, as well as the "100K Strong" program, an initiative of the U.S. Department of State, which seeks to strengthen exchange programs between Latin America and the United States, providing opportunities for North American and Latin American students. The talk also informed participants about the ways they can work with the EducationUSA Advising Center.
