Every week, the foreign students studying in CEDEI's Department of International Programs have a broad agenda of activities that aim to expand their knowledge.
Currently studying in this department are the Fall Semester and Fall Education groups. The students come from various universities in the United States and take academic classes at CEDEI, the same way they do at home. In addition, they have a number of other activities in order to get involved with Latin American culture.
The Fall Semester, will have a talk this week on natural medicine, to learn about the uses of medicinal plants. They will also have the opportunity to tour the Las Conceptas Museum, located in the center of Cuenca. This museum was built between 1682 and 1729 and is home to a collection of religious art.
Meanwhile, the Fall Education group will have the opportunity to test their culinary skills in cooking classes, in which they will learn to prepare delicious local dishes that are typical to Ecuador.
