The Fall Semester group, consisting of 14 students, has arrived to study in CEDEI's Department of International Programs.  They come from American universities such as Salisbury University, Iowa State University, Siena College, Syracuse University, and Linneaus.

The students arrived in Cuenca on Sunday September 7th.  They met the Cuencano host families who will welcome them into their homes during their stay. They also had the opportunity to get to know the staff of CEDEI's Department of International Programs.

The group started classes on September 8th.  The students will take courses to continue their university studies, for which they will receive credit, while also learning Spanish and other aspects of Latin American culture.

As part of the additional activities scheduled for this week, students will visit the Pumapungo Museum, located in the historic center of Cuenca.
