The “Cohort Advising” Project by EducationUSA is designed to help local students in the application process to study at US universities.

The goal of the project is for the group to have extra guidance in each step of the application process, which can be a year long. During this time, the students will receive complete and precise guidance of the 5 Steps to U.S. Study that are needed to apply to universities.

Currently, the students are completing Step One: Investigate your Options. They already know what they want to study, and they’ve begun the college search. This week, they will write the first draft of their personal statements, request letters of recommendation, and take part in a free online TOEFL test prep course for 6 weeks.

Those interested in learning more about the “Cohort Advising” program or who would like more information on the possibilities of US study can visit the EducationUSA office located on the 2nd floor of CEDEI Centro (11-02 Gran Colombia & General Torres).
