As a way of reinforcing the importance of respecting one's elders, CEDEI School's preschool classes has invited the students' grandparents to visit during the course of this week.
It will be a time for the children to enjoy being with their grandparents, who will tell them about their experiences in earlier years and prepare dishes typical to Cuenca. The main objective of this type of activity is for the children to enjoy a fun time with and value older adults.
CEDEI School's preschool receives children for Initial Education (3 to 5 years old). At this age, they require special stimuli and care, which are taken into consideration at this educational center. The institution has different characteristics that are aimed at constructing an environment in which the learning and teaching processes consider the individual needs of each child.
CEDEI Preschool has a team of national and foreign teachers who are trained to stimulate, teach, and support the littlest members of the family. The international teachers communicate in English, their mother tongue, while the national teachers do so in Spanish, considering that the children's brains, particularly during their first years of life, act as a sponge and establish communicative paths in both languages.
