The Department of International Programs CEDEI offers studies for people from different parts of the world. To do this, they offer two types of programs: for individuals and for groups through agreements that kept with the CEDEI and with different foreign universities, especially from the United States.

The programs offered for student groups are, among others, the following:

 - Spring - Fall Semester, which have a duration of four months from January to April or from September to December.

- The Intersession winter programs that receive students from the universities of St. Ambrose, Salisbury, Albright, Luther, and California State Stanislaus. These begin between December and January.

- There are programs that are held twice a year, of these are part the University of Syracuse, Dickinson, Whitewater Wisconsin and Iowa State. Of the last two universities students are also part of an education program.

- Summer programs are with Lewis & Clark, Illinois College, Augustana College, University of Texas and the Summer TEFL.

These programs are formulated for students studying in foreign universities that want to continue their careers in the CEDEI. They receive credit, participate on visits to cultural centers, lectures on different topics and the experience living with a local family.

Courses for foreign students focus on their college careers. With this criterion, the CEDEI assigns classes and internships, to acquire work experience and to learn in a new way. This also allows the students to compare the work between two countries. Additionally, students can volunteer in service projects to learn more culture and social conditions.
