Ecuadorian students have information about studying in the USA at their fingertips at EducationUSA advising centers. This network regularly offers presentations and information about higher education in the United States of America.
On November 12th, there will be an Internet info session, or “webinar”, given by representatives of HACC: Harrisburg Area Community College. This webinar will take place starting at 6:00 p.m. at CEDEI Centro, Gran Colombia 11-02 and General Torres. The representatives of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, will explain different aspects relating to the system of education for “community colleges”, which offer 2-year degrees. They will also clarify the process of transferring credits to a 4-year university, which programs they offer, and more. In addition, EducationUSA will have a visit on November 13th with International Admissions Representative, Donn Grinager, from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA. He will visit several local high schools in the Cuenca area and give a free presentation on the evening of the 13th at 5:00 p.m. at CEDEI Centro. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the programs of study, financial aid, and student life offered at this accredited higher education institution.
