Studying Medicine at a U.S. university can be a complicated process. To help clear up doubts on this subject, representatives from the University of Wyoming will give a webinar on Thursday, February 23 at 6:00 p.m.

Those interested can connect from anywhere that has an internet connection! Students can pre-register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/studying-medicine-in-the-usa-tickets-31763416233. In the webinar, attendees will learn about the different options (at the pre-professional or advanced level) that are available to students who wish to obtain a degree in the health field.

This event is hosted by the EducationUSA office in Cuenca, which offers complete and impartial information on U.S. Higher Education Institutions and is supported by the U.S. Department of State.

Additionally, on Wednesday, Februrary 22 at 6:00 p.m., there will be an information session on the 5 Steps to U.S. Study. Afterwards, Stephanie López, an American student from Siena College will give a presentation. Both events will take place in room 304 at CEDEI Centro, located at Gran Colombia 11-02 & General Torres.

Stephanie will speak about her experiences at Siena College and about the benefits that this Higher Education Institution offers, such as programs of study, clubs & sports, support services for international students, and more.

Currently, Stephanie is studying at the International Programs department at CEDEI, thanks to a prestigious scholarship awarded by the U.S. government that allowed her to study in Ecuador. This award is called the Gilman Scholarship (http://www.iie.org/Programs/Gilman-Scholarship-Program).
