During this week’s regular Wednesday Information Session, you can hear the personal testimony of native Quiteño Andrés Artunduaga, former student and scholarship recipient of Briar Cliff University, who now works in the school’s International Admissions Office. Briar Cliff University is located in the state of Iowa, USA.
On Wednesday, November 23 at 18h00, the staff of EducationUSA Cuenca will explain the 5 Steps to U.S. Study. Afterwards, Andrés will share his experiences of before, during, and after his studies in the United States as well as providing information on the programs and scholarships offered by Briar Cliff. The costs of attendance, admissions requirements and 2+2 study plans with community colleges will also be discussed. This presentation has no cost and will take place in room 304 at the CEDEI Centro building on Gran Colombia 11-02 & General Torres.
Here, interested students and parents can speak directly to Andrés and the advisers of EducationUSA to clear up any doubts they may have. It’s important to mention that Briar Cliff University offers excellent scholarships for Ecuadorian students as well as academic merit and talent-based awards.
In addition, there are visits planned to various local high schools to deliver information sessions on the 5 Steps to U.S. Study, the Opportunity Funds program, 2+2 programs to transfer credits earned from community college to a university. In addition, Andrés will speak about Briar Cliff University’s costs of attendance, scholarships, admissions requirements, and student life.
