Living in a different country may produce different reactions, as feelings of confusion, false stereotypes, loneliness and anxiety in some people. To minimize the effects of this situation, the CEDEI International Programs department offers to its foreign students diverse lectures about “Culture Shock”, which will help them to better adapt their stay in Ecuador.

Indeed, this will be the topic discussed by the students of the Fall Semester group, who are studying in CEDEI from this week. The lecture will be an excellent opportunity for students to discuss about their feelings and perceptions that they will have later on, while they are living temporarily in Ecuador.

In addition, the students will develop other activities such as: cooking classes, dance classes, visits to tourist sites in our region and country, among others. The Fall Semester group came to CEDEI to continue their university studies and at the same time learn more about Latin American reality.
