Last week, the CEDEI School teachers attended workshops on various topics in order to keep their knowledge up to date.  The trainings addressed pedagogical and educational issues.
One of the topics was "Reading Appreciation," in which the importance of promoting this activity for students was analyzed.  Another training session dealt with "Mathematics as a tool to work on concentration, attention, and memory."  In this workshop, teachers learned about the many benefits of mathematics.  They talked about using Neurolinguistic Programming in different subject areas to remove mental blocks.  They practiced neuronal exercises that they can use with students and learned about tools to facilitate learning in mathematics and other areas.
The teachers also attended workshops on topics such as: Assessment, Discipline, Self-realization, Education and Gender, The Didactics of Mathematics, "Brain Gym," and others.
